Will it Hold? Testing Gear Placements

A day of theory and practical exercises exploring tactics and how to coach them. Topics include move reading, anxiety management, visualisation, injury management, breathing, pacing and goal setting. Price includes wall entry.

9am-5pm on South Lakes crags £75
This practical workshop is a day at the crag, testing and learning how good your placements are in a safe, supportive single pitch environment with peers.
It’s an opportunity to sharpen your judgement, go beyond the ‘bomber wire’ and confront the uncertainty about placement quality that we deal with on many trad climbs. We’ll also explore a framework of practical testing progressions suitable for all abilities from novice upward.
